are you still skeptical?
When meeting new members at our Southern California Light System center, often I am told that a friend told them to come and then say, “I don’t know if it will work for me or not.” The new member then rattles off a list of issues along with modalities and medications they’ve used.
When you have an ongoing prescription, when is your end date? At what point are you expected to be done with the medication? Do you say, “I have refills for life?” Now, you are counting on that to keep you ticking. It is not wrong when you need it, but don’t let the mindset keep you from trying to get better at the cellular level.
The body can heal itself if you give it a chance and provide the proper environment to promote self-healing. The Light System (TLS) provides that environment with no contraindications. There is nothing that prevents you from spending time in TLS.
Let’s discuss possible side effects from medication. Don’t you find it odd that when you watch a drug commercial, that the moment the voice starts talking about the possible side effects, people are smiling, holding hands, and hugging? The commercial doesn’t change to images to match what they’re speaking about.
The commercial does not want you paying attention to what is being said since and they know we easily absorbs what we see. I found a commercial ad on-line for a popular drug prescribed to treat depression. The scene starts with visuals of sadness which leads to the benefits of the drug. Just when it starts to talk about the bad effects… “Elderly dementia patients have an increased risk of death or stroke”. The scene appears to be a mother stroking her daughter’s hair overlooking the water on a pier. It then goes on to say, “Call your doctor if you have high fever or stiff muscles and confusion as this may be sign of a life-threatening reaction.”
The theme or scene of the commercial does not change as side effects are revealed. What if the scene changes so when you hear death, an image of a corpse pops up; When you hear diabetes, you see an amputee; When you hear confusion, you see a person pulling their hair out. You would probably think twice before considering that medication if the list of the bad stuff was honestly represented.
An easy, NON-EVASIVE Approach
I view TLS like Martial Arts in that it is a “soft style”. There is nothing abrasive or a physically demanding task to force your body to make right. It is subtle, from the inside out, one layer at a time. You may notice that you can lower your dosage from three pills to one. You may notice that you were quick to anger, but now you are more relaxed. You may notice that you woke up with more energy.
You start having these moments of realization and your positivity grows, which triggers a willingness to make more changes. Now, it’s just not happening… but YOU are making it happen. Your body always wants to be like this. Give your body a chance. – Evy
